Mouth guard
If you wear your face mask below your nose, it is no longer a mask but a mouth guard.
India cases
There is a regular charter flight originating from India to the South Pacific which passes through Port Moresby. Hopefully the border officers at Jackson airport are aware of the massive surge in Covid-19 cases in that country – a record 332,000 in a day! PNG must not allow any arrivals from India right now.
Back road
Taxi drivers avoid using the Erima back road in Port Moresby at night for fear of rascals. They would rather take the longer route using the overhead bridge to the airport. One driver says it is for the safety of passengers.
Booming trade
The price of the amber liquid seems to have skyrocketed since the closure of liquor outlets. The bootlegging business is booming too.
Thought for today
Always remember that rumours are created by haters, spread by fools and accepted by idiots.
Top quote
“Also many nurses have been tricked by Satanist groups into believing that vaccination is evil. Nurses should reflect on the fact that most pastors, priests and doctors are getting vaccinated. (Around) 400 million people in developed countries have been vaccinated and those who have not been vaccinated yet are clamoring to get the vaccine as soon as possible. It is pure spiritual arrogance to claim that you don’t need to be vaccinated because God will look after you.” – Professor Glen Mola
