Gloomy future
Our brewer is losing revenue (already more than K2mil in four weeks) because of the closure of bottle shops, while other shops are allowed to open. Crazy.
Poor ears
When this pandemic passes, some will have a hard time readjusting their ears after months of wearing face masks.
Step back
When it comes to stopping the spread of the Covid-19, one person can make a difference. Just step back, stay home, slow the spread.
Spoke too soon
The prime minister of one of our Melanesian nations boasted early this month that “no nation can match our record in containing” the Covid-19. He has now disappeared after the recent surge in cases, forcing a 14-day lockdown in that nation.
Respect app
The App you use when someone is talking to you is called “Respect”. Put your phone away.
Food for thought

Top quote
“By getting back into the mainstream of economic activity, PNG needs to get its Covid-19 pandemic under control quickly through constraints and a mass voluntary vaccination without unduly disrupting economic or livelihood activity, but very much by disrupting major spreading events and situations.”
– Economist Paul Barker.
