Mr circumcision
If you having a bad day spare a though for an old fella from England. The 70-year-old man went into Leicester Royal Infirmary for a bladder procedure known as a cystoscopy but was mistaken for another patient by hospital staff and circumcised. He told local media that he was so distracted talking to hospital staff that he didn’t notice he was getting the incorrect procedure until it was too late. Despite his troubles he was paid about K79,000 in compensation. Not bad for a free circumcision.
Cold front
Residents in the nation’s capital can expect more chilly nights ahead thanks to the land down under. Double cold fronts sweeping through eastern and southern states in Aussie are expected to cause blizzard conditions and cold snap from today according to media reports. Keep warm and keep the fire burning.
Rainy Pom
Meanwhile it was raining cats and dogs in the nation’s capital last night. Apparently it’s supposed to be the dry season. Mud, puddles, and pot holes galore.
Gordon bus stop
The usual bus station at Gordon market was moved to Unagi Oval yesterday to allow clean-up work to be done at the market. Thugs also relocated to the Unagi Oval to pounce on commuters. Over to you to the officers in blue.
