Player revolt
It seems not all is well at the Broncos camp with coach Kevin Walters reportedly sorting out differences with key players some of whom are leaving. Sad situation.
Changing team
Loyal Broncos fan was seen on Saturday gulping down the amber liquid like there is no tomorrow. Still pissed off with the result on Thursday night obviously. He was seen cheering on the Warriors on the big screen, and refused to talk to anyone.
Too good
That comeback thriller by the Panthers against the Roosters on Friday rates as one of the best games so far this season. So much talent on display.
Walking back
The Government seems to be walking back the free education policy it shelved this year. May have something to do with the 2022 general election.
Heads up
Word has it that a flight originating from (covid-19-infested) India may pass through Jackson airport soon. NAC may be aware of it.
Safe crossing
Much safer to use the overhead bridge at Waigani, Port Moresby to cross to or from Vision City. Convenient too.
Poor dad
Dad has been noticing that everyone in the family looks away when he mentions Father’s Day coming up. He can only surmise that the Covid-19 has also had a dramatic impact on attitude in the family.
Food for thought
Sometimes you just have to stop worrying, wondering and doubting. Have faith that things will work out, maybe not the way you want it to be, but how it is meant to be.
Top quote
“Of significant concern for PNG is the emerging organised international criminal syndicates as evidenced in the recent failed attempt to fly out a large quantity of cocaine, and also the discovery of large amounts of drugs washed up on beaches in Milne Bay.” – Transparency International PNG chairman Peter Aitsi.
