Taking sides
From a rugby league fan: This Covid-19 pandemic seems to be taking sides. It has forced all three SOO 2021 games to be played on Queensland soil, with two already won by the Blues. If the Blues win again today, we can safely conclude which side the virus has been silently supporting all along. Yeah, right!
Slater out

Billy Slater reportedly pulled out of the Maroons coaching race to avoid being caught up in the “circus”. He relayed that message to QRL boss Bruce Hatcher when he was told to go for an interview! He declined.
Stay away
We dread to think of the devastating effect of the Delta variant will cause if it reaches PNG. Keep our fingers crossed!
Power cuts
A consumer recently observed that the ceaseless power cuts in Port Moresby seem to have gone up a notch since former bossman Bekker left. Something is amiss, consumer thinks.
