Guns blazing
Petroleum Minister Kerega Kua says the country is on track to see the US$12 billion (K41.28bil) Papua LNG project proceed with “all guns blazing”. Wow!
Message received
Speaker apparently got his message across to MPs of both sides of the House about the essence of punctuality, and respecting Parliament. No one even the PM should keep the Speaker waiting, like on Tuesday.

An MP was going on in Parliament yesterday about asking permission before drilling holes. He was referring to explorers of projects.

The USA which has promised to supply PNG with millions of J&J vaccine doses has passed the 50 per cent mark for adults being fully vaccinated. PNG is still below 1 per cent. Ouch!
Safe weekend
Tomorrow is Friday, Aug 13. Black Friday to some, and to others, just another last day of work week and the start of the weekend.
