Exciting 2022
Only the ruling Pangu Pati has come out so far to “test the water” – with eight months to go to the 2022 elections. The PNC, NAP, PPP and others are yet to show their hands. Anyway, it shapes up to be an exciting contest, considering the many MPs who have crossed the floor since 2017.

Great to see one of our Pacific islands universities being rated among the top 10 in the world. Wow!
Woof night
A scribe came in to work feeling sleepy. She told the editor she could not sleep well last night because the dogs on her street were on heat and were using her back fence to do their business. A colleague quipped: Can I get a woof, woof?
Boys and men
We are at the business end of the NRL 2021 season and the men have now been separated from the boys, so to speak. The top eight big men will decide who the biggest is.
