Happy 46th
In a matter of days, no hours, our streets and neighbourhoods have been flooded with colourful dresses, T-shirts, caps and PNG merchandise to celebrate the 46th Independence Day tomorrow. Happy 46th PNG!
In hibernation
One also wonders where those heaps of colourful PNG attire appear from, and after this weekend, disappear to. Most probably they appear from, and go into, a 12-month hibernation each time. They look all fresh and new anyway.
Not bad
They say that life begins at 40. It means we just six years into life. Still young, PNG
Standing erect
Hurrah! The bus stop near the 8-Mile roundabout in Port Moresby, featured in this column recently after it had been lying on its backside for ages, has finally been fixed. It is standing erect, has a new roof and a fresh coat of paint.
