Eagles and rabbits
IN real life, soaring eagles scoop up rabbits from the ground for food, often catching them unaware. Manly fan believes that the same will happen on Friday in the NRL semifinal match against the Rabbitohs. Tohs fan begs to differ.
Olam’s bid
WE will see too if Chimbu man Justin Olam manages to win back-to-back NRL grand finals with the Melbourne Storm. What a great feat that would be.
Taxi meters
WHEN will taxi drivers start using those expensive-looking meters in their cabs? Surely the meters were not bought for decoration purposes. One driver explains that they are waiting for the green light from the Eye Triple See (or transport authority) which he says is taking forever.
No end
THE hooligans are it again – this time right in front of the Gordon police station in Port Moresby. They painted graffiti over the signboard meant to inform people of the toll free number to call if they need help.
