Tough assignment
The majority of the population live in the rural areas. It needs a herculean, concerted, intense effort, with the help of international medical teams of course, to vaccinate most of them. It must be done for all our sake.
Long wait
At this rate of vaccination, it may take at least the end of 2022 to reach a safe “herd immunity” level. And that is only a conservative estimate. The rest of the world is moving on meanwhile.
So much love
From a reader: Everything we say at funerals should be said at birthday parties instead. We leave so much love unspoken.
Wedding bells
When we are all busy dealing with the pandemic, this guy is moving around looking for a kind considerate meri to marry him. Good luck, bro.
Thought for today
Not everyone is given the chance to grow old. So appreciate and thank God for every single day of your life.
Top quote
“68,732 women have received their first dose of the vaccine. Added to the 106,657 who have been fully vaccinated, it brings the total to 290,513 who have received the first or second dose of the vaccines.” – National Pandemic Response Controller David Manning.
