Public holiday
MAKES sense that Monday Dec 27 is declared a public holiday because both Xmas and Boxing Day this year fall on a weekend. Most of us can use the extra day off after a rather “long” year.
Little faith
FUNNY that after the head of the church in PNG gets the jab and vouches publicly about its effectiveness and benefit, but vaccine-phobia church members still have doubts, and refuse to believe him.
Breeding ground
FAR-fetched it may sound to some but epidemiologists are warning that PNG is a potential breeding ground for new Covid-19 variants because of the low vaccination rate which is creating opportunities for the virus to spread and mutate. So get the jab, folks!
Deafening silence
NO word from City Hall during the eviction of families from Garden Hill on Monday. Right in the middle of the city too.
Thought for today
NEVER regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be undone, changed or forgotten. Just take it as a lesson and move on.
