Birthday gifts
It is traditional that we are showered with gifts on our birthdays – and on Christmas, even though it is not our birthday. The one whose birthday it is received birthday gifts only once in his life – when he was born in the manger. Shepherds gave him gold, frankincence and myrrh. That was it.
