No cash
POST PNG should off-load the Western Union business to another agency which can provide a more efficient and reliable service. Many angry locals were rudely told at the Post PNG counters “no cash” when they went to receive money they were sent during the busy Christmas period. Appalling service!
Meri fight
TWO women were having a fist fight in the middle of the road at a Port Moresby suburb on New Year’s Eve – watched by men and children. No one dared lift a finger. Wow!
Big spike
ALARMING spike in the Covid-19 cases (400,000 a day) and deaths in the US and other nations, while PNG is slowly recovering from the Christmas festivities. Paradise indeed!
Leap of faith
GOOD luck taking that leap of faith into 2022. May you have 12 months of happiness, 52 weeks of laughter, 365 days of success, 8760 hours of good health, 525,600 minutes of blessings and 31, 536,000 seconds of joy!
No point
PARENTS send their children to school, make sure they get the best education and celebrate when they graduate. But then they cannot secure any job. What’s the point of it all, they rightly ask?
Service training
MANY of us badly need training on the basics of providing service – at the reception, counter, cashier cubicle – how to greet and help a customer or client, what to say, how to present oneself. So vital!
Thought for today
WORRYING is a total waste of time. It does not change anything. All it does is steal your joy, and keep you very busy doing nothing.
