Double standard
Nobody is keen to enforce the Covid-19 public health safety rules while we are hosting our royal visitor. Everyone is not wearing masks, including the royal guest and our own leaders. If the restrictions have been suspended, the public are yet to be informed of it. It seems there is one rule for royalty and one for ordinary citizens. Any reason, NCC?
No explanation
At least Water PNG had the decency to explain to consumers the reasons behind the water cuts in Port Moresby recently. Not PNG Power, however, as people continue to put up with the continuous power cuts almost daily. No word at all.
Dirty money
No one seems to know where all the cash found in a swamp in Port Moresby came from. Everyone including the police is keeping their distance because of the suspicious stench. Some of the notes – hopefully after being cleaned with disinfectants – are reportedly already in circulation in the city.
Food for thought
Never respond to insults. The primary purpose of those insulting you is to make you act without thinking. Frustrate them with your silence.
Top quote
“Easter was the beginning of hope for all! That hope continues on to today and in the future. An empty tomb can fill the world with grace. It takes faith to believe in the empty tomb just as a child might believe in the bunny.”
