Column 1

Healthy living
Journalists on assignment at a government agency yesterday were told that the workers have been put on a healthy diet because a recent medical check had revealed that about 90 per cent of them were “unhealthy”. They are now focusing on fruits, drinking a lot of water, and cutting back on unhealthy food.
Bank fees

Why me
This is the knife police say was used in the alleged killing of a secondary school student in Lae over his phone tablet (right) last Friday. The young man will not be able to spend Christmas with his family and see the start of the 2020 school year. So sad.
Forex issue
Colleague wanting to send money in US dollars home through internet banking found that he couldn’t. He was told by the bank there is not enough of that currency floating around. He has to go and fill in a form at the teller. He thinks the Central Bank owes him an explanation.
10 things
