SEVERAL years ago, there was talk of banning lamb flaps. Parliament was told then that more investigation and research were needed before any ban on lamb flaps was implemented. Lamb flaps are not the only fatty proteins sold in the country. The parliamentary referral committee on health and family welfare should work more towards regulating the import of fatty meat.

MIND you this was the not the first time the issue was raised in parliament. Yes, we admit that there has been changes in the leadership of governments over time but the committee made up of stakeholders should always remain so that there is consistency. We wonder what has become of this committee and its investigation and research.

MISS 7, while attending service at the Waigani Catholic church, turned and told her father that she really does not know why she was sitting in there because she is a Catholic. Dad explained that Waigani was also a Catholic church but she insisted that she should be at St Joseph’s instead of Waigani.

A MESSAGE sent from a dear friend should be shared: Strong women know how to keep their life in order. Even with tears in their eyes, they still manage to say ‘I’m OK’ with a smile. God is good. Change is coming. God saw your sadness and said ‘hard times are over’. You have a wonderful day.
