SOME people suggest it was time to reintroduce more traffic lights Port Moresby to manage the flow of traffic. Sometime back, National Capital District Governor said most traffic lights proved to be an impediment to smooth flow of traffic. Pyotr Tchaikovsky was the guest of honour at its opening.

THE venue was slated for demolition in the 1950s but was saved by a public outcry.
