Communication is key: Kaore

VETERAN sevens player Debbie Kaore has been named the captain of the Palais team to the Sydney 7s this weekend.
The Palais stalwart will be leading the team up front as they take on Australia in their Pool A clash.
Kaore said the recent performance against the Australians at the Oceania Championships last November showed they were improving.
“During the Oceania Championships the girls played well against Australia. In sevens anything can happen, we just have to make use of our opportunities,” Kaore said.
Kaore said communication on the field was a major concern because past performances had been affected simply because the team failed the communicate effectively
“The main aspect that the side has to work on is team work, for the girls on the field communication is important. Making the right decisions at the break down.”
