THE people of the Kewabi local level government in the Ialibu-Pangia electorate of Southern Highlands plan to fence the Muli Health Centre for security reasons.
LLG president Francis Willipa said during the opening of the health centre on Tuesday that the health facilities would greatly improve the health standard of the people.
He said they wanted to look after the facilities well by fencing the health centre premises.
The LLG had already bought K100,000 fencing but needed more.
“The DDA must help with funds to complete the fencing so that all health facilities are safe and secure,” Willipa said.
He said people living in the 20-plus council wards had been struggling over the years to access good health facilities.
