THE people of West New Britain have been urged to work with public servants to deliver services to their province.

Acting deputy provincial administrator (field services) Leo Mapmani said services were being delivered by the public servants but community ownership and participation were lacking.

He added that as a result, there was a breakdown of service delivery after public servants moved to other areas. Mapmani said that when launching the Tavur Karate Club, in Kimbe, last Friday.

Interim chairman Dr Joseph Nale said the club was established for three reasons, which were to help youths who had been forced out of the education system, to give them an opportunity to succeed in life and to promote the public-private partnership concept.
