SOUTH Pacific Freighters and Cavement Construction have once again stepped in to assist  youths of Gaire village with volleyball uniforms.
The SPF and CC marketing manager Michael Kapekoro recently presented 15 sets of uniforms to their club representatives at Gaire village, along Magi Highway in Central province.
When presenting the uniforms, he said the aim of the company’s general manager Tau Matapere was to help school children, especially youths, take part in sports and stay away from negative activities.
Cavement Construction first started its volleyball sponsorship by supporting the revived Taikone Amateur Volleyball Association pre-season grand final two weekends ago.
Matapere said he has decided to try help support the youths to become better people in life.
“It is my small contribution to the local communities in NCD and Central province to keep them away from illicit and illegal activities by taking part in the communal activity such as a volleyball competition,” he said.
