CHILDREN need support and care for their growth and health as they are the future generation of the country, a company executive says.
China Railway Construction Engineering PNG executive director Wen Lv and employees visited the children’s cancer ward at the Port Moresby General Hospital last Friday to celebrate Children’s Day with the young patients.
“We are showing our love and care for the children of PNG.”
He said PNG and China had built a strong relationship in the building and construction industry.
“We plan to continue our visit next year and every June on Children’s Day,” he said.
Ward 1E Sister-In charge Lucy Hauda told The National that the ward had the smallest number of patients, adding that they had five patients with many under 10.
She thanked the company employees for visiting on Children’s Day.
