Port Moresby Nature Park has once again received support from South Pacific Air Conditioning (SPAC) as a silver sponsor and official air conditioning service provider.
In-kind support is the maintenance of the air conditioning by SPAC that will keep the Nature Park cool.
General-manager of the Nature Park, Michelle McGeorge, said SPAC was one of the founding sponsors of the park “and it’s wonderful that they have continued the sponsorship for seven years now”.
“They have provided exceptional service as part of their sponsorship.”
McGeorge said as a non-profit organisation, the park continued to rely on generous organisations for their support.
“Currently, it is dependent on the funding support from NCDC, the business community and community visitation,” she
said.
“Nature Park is now the highest-visited single attraction in the country with over 140,000 visitors attending per annum.
“It has been dedicated to community education, conservation and safe recreational spaces.”
