INNOVATIVE Agro Industry hosted a free tasting of its latest product Joi Juice in Port Moresby yesterday.
Joi Juice will be available is available in shopping centres in four flavours – apple, mango, orange and grape.
Chairman Ilan Weiss thanked City Pharmacy Ltd through its Stop and Shop Central Waigani branch in Port Moresby for hosting yesterday’s taste test.
“CPL has been a partner since the days that we started at 9-Mile,” he said.
“Joi juice is our new product. When we started at Ilimo, our first priority was to get the dairy products out, the fresh milk and others and we have been doing this for almost three years now, and now it is time for us to do a second line of products which is our fruit juice beverages.”
Oliver Bomo, an officer from the National Court in Waigani who tasted the juice, said it was pleasing to see a locally-based company producing juice and other products for the PNG market.
He said this would support the local fruit growing industry.
Weiss said the company was committed to producing a high standard product that utilised local ingredients as well as adhering to the best international standards.
He said the priority was obviously serving the market with fresh high quality dairy products to be followed with high quality fruit beverages.
He said consumers in PNG were looking for a quality product, and would support a PNG brand.
