Compensate teachers

Letters

THE unfortunate and lowly paid who are struggling to change our future generations are now in double trouble.
Teachers should be compensated.
While they are now tasked to ensure Covid-19 safety practices are adhered to, the Education minister should push for their salaries to be corrected.
Social distancing in all schools is lacking and needs to be checked.
It will be good if the minister took time to listen to views and shut down the 2020 academic year.
Money paid to schools is not enough to sustain the situation.
Wake up, these personal protective equipment are disposals, how can we provide for our students every day.

Concern Teacher,
