The Lae Snax Tigers have the advantage of the return of five of their suspended players lining up this Sunday against the Enga Mioks in Wabag.

It will be another tough campaign for the Tigers who have generally enjoyed their Digicel Cup  campaigns into the highlands region this season. However Tigers coach Stanley Tepend says the Tigers still have good support in Wabag and this week’s training session was an enjoyable one for the team.

“We really need to win this game to put us clear on the top of the competition but we expect the Mioks to be stronger after their loss in Port Moresby last weekend,” he said.

He said despite having more players at his disposal now after the return of George Benson, Mogi Wei Junior, Willie Minoga, Charlie Philip and Rolly Matalau, he will have a few head aches trying come up with the best possible line to do the job at Johnson Siki Oval.

“There’s competition and when it’s like that its healthy for the club,” he said.

Walter Hasu will replace rookie police officer and last weekend’s five-eighth against Rabaul Gurias Michael Gawi, who will be rested along with PNGRL Foundation national elite schoolboys winger Wellington Albert.

Wonder kid Kingston Pisep will continue in the halfback role along with the kicking duties while Minoga will go into the centres while Benson reclaims his No.5 jersey on the wing.
