Complete ignorance

I REFER to the way the electricity power poles are erected between Gabone village and Tauruba village in Rigo, Central. I am frustrated because some of the power poles were not correctly put up as per PNG Power regulation. The poles were erected some 500m from the main highway, miles away from our residential houses on the other side of the road. The power pole pegs were demarcated by surveyors and the contractors totally ignored the markings. This will eventually result in affected residents (Konegoma and Kolougolo areas) having to pay more for our houses to be connected. I call on the concerned authorities to look into this.
