LEARNING from Israel during Peter O’Neill’s state visit was good for both countries.

However, cost saving is what the Government has been preaching about, and yet, some of the MPs are unnecessarily travelling costing taxpayers a lot of money.

I must point out that the Defence Force infrastructure is in a total shambles.

However, I welcome the agreement to negotiate with the Israeli military to upgrade the Defence Force’s intelligence and surveillance systems.

In 1998, Elbit Surveillance Communication System was brought into the country at the invitation of Sir Mekere Morauta.

The NFA and PNGDF need to conduct an audit communications equipment purchased for this project and brought into the country.
