Internationally-recognised coffee roaster and exporter Kongo Coffee partnered with the education sector at the 2013 National Education Conference to promote coffee education for future generations.

According to staff of the company at the conference, Kongo Coffee wanted to support the conference by giving away coffee brewing products, packaging, selling gift packs and other coffee information.

The University of Goroka has a good relationship with the local coffee producer.

At the conference, the univerisity allowed Congo Coffee staff to display its products.

Kongo Coffee, based in Chuave district of Chimbu, is quickly building a  reputation for its coffee brands, particularly the Elimbari brew, which is sold internationally and in Papua New Guinea.
