Continue basic hygiene practices

Letters

THE cautions undertaken by everyone because of the coronavirus must continue.
The advantage we see in most parts of Papua New Guinea is personal hygiene practices improving in the lives of people.
And that is what we should have daily in our personal lives.
It doesn’t matter where you are located in the village, settlements, towns and cities or you educated or not, you have money or not.
The basic is to familiarise healthcare practices which has been inattentive in the lives of so many people in our country.
We are into the 21st century and basic health and hygiene practices is a must in lives of every person.
So many people fail to bath and wear clean clothes, looking grubby, not worthy to deal business or associated with other people.
The level of health practices we are implementing in our lives today should not only be seen as geared towards the virus.
It must be part and partial of your life and extended to other areas such as in service businesses, restaurants, local markets, schools, entertainment centres, public places and other important point of meetings.
Our length of endurance on the ground is mostly based on health and hygiene so let us all put on current health routines throughout our life time. We are now highly knowledgeable and skilled in our daily health schedules and this initiative should transmit on by our children so that we will look pleasant and vigorous.
The Government’s directions on lockdown of services and expectations for everyone to observe and practice basic health routines in line with the coronavirus disease is highly spoken in most parts of PNG.
