A police officer and his relative, charged with the unlawful use of motor vehicle and receiving stolen property respectively, appeared at the Waigani Committal Court yesterday.
Policeman Joshua Kraip, 24, from Hagen Central district of Western Highlands, allegedly used a stolen vehicle that his uncle, Peter Sent had bought for K5000 from criminals on March 12.
Senior magistrate Cosmas Bidar said police were still awaiting photographs of the vehicle to use as evidence.
Bidar told Kraip and Sent that they would be served court files once they find a lawyer.
