Corporate bowls heats up

 SIX matches remain in the fight to stay on top of the points table in the PX Cargo Corporate bowls that is played every Wednesday night at Lae Bowls Club.

Pace-setters Gamoga Lawyers are a point ahead of the Agmark Gurias, ANZ Bank, NS Builders, Consort/Lae City Council, TWL2 and BNG, all of whom are sitting on nine points, with percentage for and against separating them. Corporate bowls challenge coordinator Harry Kaisa said tonight’s round 15 and 16 challenges would be an interesting one as the lawyers team took on SP Brewery in the first game and then Trans Wonderland 1.

 NS Builders face a stiff challenge from Consort/Lae City Council and then play Huon Machinery.

The BNG bowlers take on the Agmark Gurias in the first match.
