KUTUBU local level government president John Kila has involved ward councillors to drive service delivery to the people.

The group includes two women councillors who will be working in Foi and Fasu, he said.

Kila said he wanted to make a change by engaging the councillors to deliver basic services to the people in Kutubu.

“In all decision making, we need to have women involved. And I have two women leaders who will be working with the people of Foi and Fasu,” he said.

“I have new chairmen of each of the respective portfolios so the work of the LLG is shared among the councillors.”

Kila said each councillor had been tasked with responsibilities so they could be involved in the decision-making process.

“This will be funded from the LLG’s budget to each portfolio so that priorities of the LLG in terms of service delivery is catered for and achieved,” he said.
