THE decision by the Leadership Tribunal to suspend Cabinet minister Delilah Gore for three months without pay for misconduct in office will be reviewed by the National Court.

This follows a ruling made by Justice Stephen Kassman to grant Gore’s application for leave for judicial review in Waigani last Friday.

Kassman said he was satisfied Gore had an arguable case, which warranted the National Court to review the tribunal’s decision.

He said he was satisfied with the purposes of the leave application that the issue of Gore’s suspension was not canvassed in the Tribunal’s decision.

The tribunal chaired by Justice Goodwin Poole alongside senior magistrates Mark Selefkaru and Ernest Wilmot on July 27 found Gore guilty of failing to carry out the obligations imposed on her under Section 27 (1) of the Constitution when she shouted loudly at a flight attendant.
