CITY Pharmacy Limited (CPL) is embarking on a growth period, chief executive officer Navin Raju says.
Raju, who will take over from managing director, Sir Mahesh Patel on Jan 1, said the company had embarked on a three-phase programme to stablise, transform, and grow in three years.
“We believe that in October, we are now at the end of the transformed CPL phase two process and we are actually starting to embark on our growth period,” he said. “Last year we opened five new pharmacies.
“This and next year, we are looking at other opportunities.
“We also opened a hardware shop. So this is now the last phase of our three transformation plan.”
Raju said the company rolled out its three-year transformation plan in 2018. He thanked CPL’s suppliers for sticking with the company through its difficult periods.
