CPL goes traditional for independence

THE City Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) celebrated the country’s 44th Independence anniversary in its own way, with employees in Port Moresby dressed in their traditional attires.
CPL managing director Mahesh Patel led his CPL executives and management team and staff in two coaster buses visiting the Stop & Shop (SNS) shops in Port Moresby yesterday to see staff celebrate PNG’s 44th Independence anniversary. The company will announce the best decorated shop as well as the best male and female traditionally dressed employees.
The CPL executives visited the following shops: SNS Rainbow, SNS North Waigani, City Pharmacy Vision City, CPL Showroom, SNS Boroko, SNS Badili, SNS Koki, SNS Harbour City, Hardware Haus Central Waigani and SNS Central Waigani.
Each visit lasted up to 15 minutes and saw staff perform dances and songs in front of the company officials.
Every independence, CPL executives visit its shops and judge the best dressed shops and best dressed male/female employees.
Patel was amazed by the how many employees came to work in their traditional attire, showcasing PNG’s rich and diverse cultures.

  • CPL did very well not like some Asian shops at Koki. Pypon Trading should not operate here in PNG. No decorations inside and outside their shops. NO RESPECT AT ALL!!!!!
