DIGITAL ECONOMY

IN THE global outlook every economy has strict underpinnings that depict their manifestations, particularly in policy matters.
From a free market to a state-regulated regime or a blend of these two extremes, varying characteristics place countries in their current positions on a grand economic scale.
Understandably, the characteristics of countries’ populations over time have led to these classifications.
To do a digitised analysis of the above classifications is of paramount importance, especially knowing that we can liken character to the behaviour and attitude of a population.
Thus in the computerisation of this idea, all possible trends and proclivities of behaviour and or attitude to create characters is a simplistic element to start creating the database for the fetch-and-execute cycle processes.
When we do a reconnaissance of the propensity of the attitude of PNG from the dawn of history, it can be noted that it has changed a lot.
A software tasked with scavenging such information would bring this to light for easier comprehension for decision-making.
It can be seen that characters in the sense of production of a database built for characters in the sense of attitudes and behaviour of a population may hold a secret to the answer we are looking for to better our nation.
The fact of this idea is that we have to live cooperatively and harmoniously with each other if we want to see our society flourish to greater heights.
Digitised information will reveal all those innate characteristics in greater detail which PNG can use as tools to advance its agendas.
Say for instance, we see public properties being vandalised all the time.
Money is being stolen or missing from earmarked projects.
We also see family or clan members recruiting their own relatives substituting merit-based conducts.
There are tribal fights everywhere which should be a thing of the past but sadly brought forward to this day endangering innocent people’s lives.
Hence, we are saying that digitised information from a database calculation will place all of us and our decision into perspectives.
So using software to traverse the breadth and depth of the existence of Papua New Guineans as a tool to make decisions will presuppose we will leave lesser space for dubious decisions and more space or accurately calculated economic decisions.
Simply because the issue of the attitude of our people would be known better with digitised information and a generation of a corrective measure and package for PNG can be drawn and funded appropriately unambiguously.

Interfacing
Knowing our internal attitude and behaviour will help us to live cooperatively well with each other nationally, regionally and internationally.
A computer designed programme tailored for such a case can highlight some of the unexplored territories which we have always overlooked to know that such information was not as important as we thought it really was.
It’s just like the great biblical passage pointing out that the stone the builders rejected has become the corner stone.
We need to bring to the minds of all our people that we are not alone.
We are living in a global village as exemplified by the current modern digital technology.
We have to know that our collective actions determine our very survival.
For instance, extensive human activities culminate in a build-up of greenhouse gasses and lesser removal of the carbon dioxide gas due to vegetation denudation producing changes in global weather patterns.
Taking the above as the example, we have to inspect internally, even within each individual to see that no man is an island.
The individual needs parents, family members, married couples need each other, clansmen, elected MPs, etc. to help bring about a meaningful life and living.
The same approach can be taken with PNG posing itself and letting the world know that we are just a single character to form a data world and do not have to wage wars with against other but rather to cooperate to bring longevity of life on the mother planet earth which we call home.
Thus in interfacing one can envisage a glut of ideas to tell the world which means that PNG will come up with so many ideas to educate the world with the use of a pervasive or mainframe parlance system’s data file management.
Our effort to develop the nation and when we embrace and carefully work through the concept of digital economy and attain a reputable status, will also be a lesson to the world who are engrossed with pride and are creating weapons to destroy each other.
Thus it will be an innovative and creative idea to help ourselves and help our fellow earth citizens to save all of our lives and ensure earth will support life and humanity for an infinity to come. To attain this tranquillity we simply have to generate it logically or physically through our quest for an eventual digital economy.

Internal capacity
We know ourselves better than anyone outside of our perimeters. So if the international media rates us as what we are not, then this already amounts to prejudice.
We know the various ethnic groups from the different provinces that comprise PNG.
Their characteristic behavioural and physical attributes somehow shape their attitudes.
Further, we know that we as a nation have natural resources that are continuously harvested and that we have to immediately come up with strategies to maximise their use while we have the time before we are late, particularly in the non-renewable sector.
The above can be defined further like the types of resources available and character-based words in computing can be produced in huge computing powers like mega, terra and peta-flops. This software will yield exceedingly higher computing efficiencies to give us more information to base our decision-making on.

PNG’s competency
For our nation to be prosperous the foremost thing we know we can depend on is our natural resources. In this series of lectures I have identified that the second most important resource is time.
While we have the time we can create the changes that we think we can. Now for any development project to start the integral ingredient is data or information availability.
In this article the idea that comes out in a conspicuous way is that of creating information.
We have to base all our decisions on very accurate data and information. Without good data we will make ambiguous decisions.
We have the tool available to give us the data or first class information required.
This is the digital technology. So using digital technology and the data generated by software in digital technology for digital economy would be a leap forward as the enabling factors are the tools.
Of greater importance is the quality data that we generate to use.
Data can be collected and generated for use in the exercise to better PNG. We have to note that our minds have limited capacity to make us think to a certain extent.
The most vital thing our mind can do is to dispense wisdom which is divine in nature.
Intelligence with the use of digital technology will give us the cutting edge ability to bring into fruition all our spontaneous and intrinsic desires to better PNG and get us to the highest level we aspire to go.
