Credit Corporation group CEO to retire

THE Credit Corporation group chief executive officer will be retiring from the company at the end of this year.
Allport, pictured,  joined Credit Corp in 1987, and was initially appointed as the company’s business development manager, before being posted to Fiji in 1992 as its first country head.
He returned to the Credit Corporation head office in Port Moresby as CEO in 1999.
He was appointed managing director in 2011.
Chairman Sir Wilson Kamit thanked Allport on behalf of the company’s board for his service and contribution over the many years he has been with Credit Corporation.
