THE Fortuna Fresh Central Dabaris face reigning premiers Bintangor Goroka Lahanis in Round 4 of the Digicel Cup at the National Football Stadium on Sunday.
The match is part of a double header which will also feature hosts Port Moresby Vipers up against the the Lae Snax Tigers.
The Dabaris-Lahanis tussle provide fans with potentially one of the games of the round.
Dabaris pulled off the upset of the season so far when they beat the Enga Mioks (24-22) in Wabag last week with fans eager to see the Central team in action.
The new comers have two wins from the opening three rounds with the only blemish on their record a tight 26-24 loss to the Hagen Eagles.
Already turning heads with their focus on attacking football, Dabaris, coached by Chris Enara are proving doubters wrong with their quality and consistency proving they are the genuine article.
The Lahanis stormed back into form with a 40-0 thrashing of the Kimbe Cutters after dropping their first two matches.
Dabaris centre Makara Hura, who scored a hat-trick last week, is one to watch while playmakers Allen Simbiri and Junior Belo have done a great job directing the attack.
The Lahanis have the experience despite having lost key talent over the off-season with pacey backs Jah Hogan and Norman Brown capable of setting the game alight while captain and prop Gonzella Urakusie will relish his clash with his opposite Adam Korave of the Dabaris.
The Lahanis will have Nick Hasu back from Hunters duties while the Dabaris will have their own Hunters in Rex Kaupa backing up and possibly Patrick Morea. Fixtures: Rd 4 – Sun, April 28: Muruks v Gurias, Dabaris v Lahanis, Vipers v Tigers, Tumbe v Isou, Eagles v Mioks, Cutters v Wigmen.
