Dad catches businessman, daughter in the act

A MAN caught a prominent businessman having sex with his 15-year-old daughter in Goroka, Eastern Highlands province, last Saturday and has reported him to police.
Police said the businessman was now on the run.
Provincial police commander ACP Simon Kauba said on Monday the businessman allegedly used money to lure the girl to a guest house room at about noon and had sex with her till 6pm.
He said the father found them in the room and lodged a police report.
The father, from Okapa district, was advised by police to take his daughter to the hospital for a medical check-up and to return with a report.
ACP Kauba said having sex with a minor was a criminal offence and the businessman would be arrested and charged accordingly.
“The businessman is still at large but we will have him arrested and charged,” he said.
In another case, a woman who works for a trading company in Simbu’s Kundiawa was asleep in her house at about 5am last Saturday when a man broke in and tried to rape her.
ACP Kauba said the victim, a married woman, reported the matter to police who are investigating.
“We have the identity of the suspect who is on the run,” he said.
