A MAN from Watut, in Morobe, has been searching for his daughter and niece for three months.
They disappeared in Bulolo last September.
Kaukesa Ketram, from Nambasari village in Watut, sought Madang police assistance yesterday after he received word that his daughter and niece were last seen in Madang.
Ketram said his daughter Doline Kaukesa, 13, and niece Lisima Henry, 14, were last seen at the Bulolo bus stop when they were trying to catch a PMV to Wau to spend their third term holidays with Lisima’s family.
“I have been searching for three months for them and I heard that they are in Madang so I travelled here.
“I want people to come out with information, please,” Ketram said.
He said the two girls never went to where they were supposed to but after few weeks he received word that they had travelled to Madang.
Ketram said just last week, a policeman from Bulolo told him that the girls were in the Suaru village in Bogia and he travelled there but could not find them.
“I searched the Suaru village for my daughter but no one there knew her and her cousin.
“I appeal to the good people of Madang along the North Coast road to report to police if you have any information of the whereabouts of my daughter and niece,” Ketram said.
He said Doline was short, fat and dark-skinned and Lisima tall, slim and light skinned.
