THE office of Kabwum MP and Defence Minister Bob Dadae and local leaders have defended him from critics who say he has done very poorly in addressing the bad road condition in the district.
The MP’s secretary, Basil Andon, said the district’s machineries and equipment which were launched last year were available, but the roads work are being hindered by the delay in release of funds as well as the unpredictable weather.
He said Mr Dadae was “silently engaged in development” projects compared to some MPs who have more media publicity.
Ward 16 councillor from Selepet local level government area, Eriks Unzi, said in support that the unpredictable wet weather caused landslips along the Kabwum road and the grading of sections of the road to be delayed.
