A SENIOR darts player has called on the Team Morobe selectors to consider the players from the rural districts for the upcoming PNG Games in Kimbe, West New Britain.
Henry Musakie, who is part of an association in Lae, raised the concern after realising that only a few rural players were being given the opportunity.
He said Lae had three associations and had selected teams to take part at national darts tournaments and club championships.
But the grassroots players were missing out on playing at major tournaments and the PNG Games was the best platform to give them.
“Darts is played in the towns and the villages. I think Team Morobe should consider more talented rural players for the PNG Games,” Musakie said.
