JUSTICE Catherine Davani has advised parties involved in the police commissioner’s post case to stop speaking to the media as it could be sub-judice.
She said the matter was serious and the continuous statements in the media, especially the daily newspapers, were not good for the people.
“All citizens of this country are affected by this matter and continuous reports do not help our people,” Davani said“Speaking as a citizen, parties involved in the matter must exercise some responsibility and carefulness in the issues surrounding the matter,” she said before adjourning the case to next week.
She did not give a definite date on the return of the matter but assured that the rulings on applications would be handed next week.
