Deadline ends for registration in corporate league nines

THE deadline for Port Moresby Corporate League Nines registrations is today, according to an official.
Registration is K4,000, and the managers’ meeting is at the Rita Flynn Indoor Complex at 6pm on Monday. The number of teams and the draws will be confirmed then.
Sportz Events director Solomon Ravu said defending champions Funeral Home Laumas had registered to defend their title.
Former champions Central Government are yet to register with only seven slots left. Teams that have confirmed their participation were AES, BSP, Depart of Finance, Spidertek, Funeral Home, Brian Bell 1 and 2, NCDC, Bishops, PNG Power white and Blue, Goodman Fielders and new teams Bismark Shipping and KPMG Springboks. Air Niugini, Eda Ranu and Digicel are making a return at this year’s tournament, on July 6 at the Bava Park.
Ravu said the registration fees should be deposited into the Sportz Events Ltd account with ANZ Bank.
