Deadline set for clubs in WNSL

ALL proposed franchise clubs wanting to register for the upcoming season of the Telikom National Soccer League the Ox & Palm Women’s National Soccer League have two weeks to do so.
The Papua New Guinea Football Association and the NSL development manager Chris Brown said the teams had until Aug 10 to submit expressions of interest.Brown said franchise clubs must register their interest in writing, including the names and contact numbers and email addresses for all office bearers, full detail of sponsors plus other requirements like: lA letter of support from a PNGFA-affiliated club/association;
lA similar letter of support from sponsors, and, lA non-refundable nomination fee of K5,000 (TNSL) and K1,000 O&PWNSL by cheque payable to the NSL.Brown said registrations must be hand delivered to the PNGFA office at the Sir John Guise stadium, Waigani, before close of business on Aug 10. Brown said they would decide later whether the Port Moresby Soccer Association could enter teams.
The Port Moresby Soccer Association may find itself out in the cold if the PNGFA insists on a letter of support from a PNGFA affiliated association as it is not.
Despite being suspended from the PNGFA, Port Moresby has been a major provider of players to national teams for international tournaments.
