Debate in parlt, not outside
WHILE the looming debate between Prime Minister James Marape and Opposition Leader Belden Namah is most welcomed, it is important that they debate in parliament where laws are made and not elsewhere.
Why debate now when the court is about to rule on the legality of recalling parliament and passing of the 2021 Budget?
What is Marape trying to prove by asking the alternate prime minister for a debate? This is childish.
People fear the Covid-19, some businesses have shut down, resource sectors are struggling with employees laid off, schools are shutting down without proper graduation ceremonies and teachers are stranded without leave fares.
The Government should focus on these issues instead of worrying about a debate.
Can Marape stop playing too much politics and camping at Loloata Island? It’s time to serve our people, not camping.

Haven’t you heard from inside source,the parliament be re-called and a vote of no confidence be moved in favor of a new alternate government ?
This is an ill thought comment by a ill minded Papua New Guinean. No new government can change the problem of this country overnight or over the 18 months period. Every government formed need good policy plat form to deliver much needed services. The opposition can and will not change this country overnight. Be a good citizen of this country and think as a honest mature citizen where you can contribute meaningfully to the development of this country and do not ask what your PM or MPs or the government can do for you.
Only logical option.

Call for a referendum; GG to dissolve Parliament and run the country in order to save PNG and our remaining funds before they get to the hands of those power hungry idiots!

Joey agree with you leave JM run the country for another year and lets see what he can do, He has set some good laws where our generation will benefit and also those big belly stomach will pay for their corruptions that’s why they are running around the floors just to save guard their ass.
