Dedication pays off for Olam

Letters

JUSTIN Olam comes from my small sub-clan of Digasugagau (Ward 8, Suai local level government) in the Dinga tribe of SinaSina-Yongomugl, Chimbu.
My small family group (Digasugagau) has produced top rugby league stars in Papua New Guinea such as Justin Olam (Melbourne Storm) Kuni Minga (France) and Radley Brawa (France, SP Hunters and PNG Kumuls).
I am proud to proclaim that our grandfathers and even our fathers today are dedicated Christian missionaries and layman and so are we, their sons.
I encourage all Papua New Guineans to seek fame, fortune and blessings through the same way we did.
The blessings continue as one of the same family member will make history again by being the country’s first ever super elite military commando on May 26 next year when he graduates as member of the British Special Air Service (SAS).
The British SAS is ranked as the world’s most dangerous elite military unit with the toughest job on earth.
