Deep sea tailing too risky

Letters

PAPUA New Guinea and people of Morobe will be at risk if the Government allows deep sea mining waste dumping.
Almost all Morobe people in the coast depend on the sea for living.
Money is the root of all evil and the hunger for money by the people, the Government and investors to dump harmful mining waste in the seas of Morobe will cause destruction.
Waste will be spread by the strong currents to all parts of the country and other Pacific islands.
Our marine food will be poisoned.
Please don’t allow ourselves to be poisoned and let us enjoy our natural habitats that our forefathers have left us to live on.
