Delayed justice

Letters

IT is hard for ordinary citizens to take a case to court then wait for over a year for a ruling.
Currently the National Court has cases listed under reserved decisions, which have been parked to await a ruling.
Grieving parties will not always get the decisions they want, however, the least the court can do is encourage judges to make a ruling quickly.
The grieving parties can write to the chief judge but that may not go down well with the judge dealing with the case.
If the court has time limitations on when a ruling should be
made then the judge should those guidelines to close the case.
Remember that justice delayed is justice denied.
